Description

Preface

This strategy revolves around Abyss Scarab of Edifice which will spawn a large quantity of Hoardes, which are just chests that can contain any items that normal chests can. This basically makes Caster Mastery "25% chance to open nearby Chests when you Cast a Spell" mandatory. You can try clicking them, but you'll be miserable very quickly and quite soon.

General idea

This farm focuses on farming big ticket items: divination cards. As such you want to Scry either Residence (Fire of Unknown Origin - Nimis) or Defiled Cathedral (The Apothecary - Mageblood) to the map of your choice. Ideally it should be Jungle Valley or Mausoleum since the boss does not spawn until you enter the arena.

Roll your maps manually to have at least 70% quant, then you want to check and exalt those that have 5 affixes so that they have 80%+ quant.

Running the map

After entering, do not open any abysses yet. Go through map and kill all spawned mobs. Pick as many quant/rarity altars as you can. Divinity card duplication is great and if stars align, it will double your high price div card. Once you're cleared the map, more or less, track back and open the abysses on your way. As you follow the pit, hoardes will spawn. Make sure you open them (thus using caster mastery so that they open automatically when you cast a spell) as those chests will be the source of your cards, divines, and Valdo's Puzzle Box. There is no need to enter the depths, they don't really drop anything worthwhile.

Once you opened and cleaned your map, go to boss and egage it. Take care, as it will have between 5 and 60 div cards (rng, 60 is when your altars drop div cards and they're duplicated, and 5 is when you got no altars at all) and will hit like a truck if connects. Once you kill the boss, it will drop the cards duplicated. We will always see the even number of cards, so when Fire of Unknown Origin drops, it will be 2 or 4 (if you were lucky and dupe procced on it).

Profits

The largest chunk of your profits are big ticket items. From my testing of around 100 maps, you get Nimis card around every 25 maps. Without the card, your revenue is around 8-9d/h and cost is around 2d/h. I'm able to run a single map in around 11-12 minutes. Most of your revenue will come from currency drop as well as 5 affix jewels.

You get 1 div and 1 valdo box every 5 maps or so.
