Description

This strategy was run using MF Fulcrum Chieftain. Here's a link to the character at the time of doing it. https://pobb.in/lG18_jHG9eWZ

The content is extremely difficult and rather monotonous, involving chasing abyss spires and waiting for them to spawn all 12 nodes. To accomplish this, you must roll your maps to have "Monsters have +2 additional projectiles" and then exalt them to be above 90% quantity.

To run the maps: start by activating the delirium mirror, then going into the Wildwood to collect wisps. If the wisp count was good, then you want to hunt for eater altars, taking all quantity and duplication chance altars you can find. Once you've collected all the altars, you can start to engage with the league mechanics (abyss, harbinger, expedition, and any natural spawns). If the wisp count was bad, which will happen occasionally, then simply clear the map as normal, without backtracking. It is not worth the time investment to squeeze everything out of a weak wisp map, just move on to the next in a timely fashion.

There are great guides on how to path in the woods on YouTube, but my personal tip is to go slow, stretch your game window, and never reveal the area around an event until the very end. Use your fuel to follow trails and move to the next event, then once you're out of fuel, go back and collect any wisps you missed. This strategy requires good knowledge of efficient pathing in the woods. I don't believe it would be worth the investment if the average map was below 5k total wisps. My average wisp count was around 6.5k, with several maps exceeding 8k, with one map reaching 10k. This is crucial to maximizing the drops from the rare abyss monsters.

The average map time was around 20 minutes, with some exceeding 30 minutes if the wisp count was great and the loot plentiful. Most of the time is spent looting, corrupting items, and waiting for abyss spires.

Overall it was a great farm, just know that it requires a strong build and a strong mind. Abyss can become rather tedious after several maps, so it will not be for everyone!

Tip 1: Always carry a stack of vaal orbs and use a very strict filter that shows meta uniques, such as Greed's Embrace, Goldwyrm, Cloak of Flame, etc. Corrupt them as you see them. I did not include my corruptions in the calculations, but it added up to well over 150 divines of extra revenue on top of what is shown here.

Tip 2: Playing in Windowed mode with the game stretched allows for a pseudo-widescreen viewmodel. This allows you to see far greater area, allowing for situations in the Wildwood where you can see extension/refresh orbs that you normally would not. Highly recommended!

Here is a link to the filter I used. Customize it to your liking. You will drop a lot of currency, so if you need supplies like fusings, just add them back in and you'll be stocked up in no time. This filter is very strict, but it is necessary so that you do not crash the game on highly juiced maps.
