TL:DR -25% less loot nerfed but not drastically, 20 "new maps" test dropped 1 hinekora 15d 10ex lots of currency and maps still do self sustain with less strict regexes
explained in description, planning to get my 4th mirror drop post-nerf
requires a strong mapping build with a headhunter able to do all t17 mods, boss damage is not important, maps per hour is key

this is a Risk scarab strategy on 8 mod maps which involves every single T17 annoying/deadly modifier and you have to run them all and all the time PLUS affliction wisps PLUS delirium which only makes things harder
PREPARE TO DIE A LOT, AND SOMETIMES FAIL MAPS
if its not every second map then you just have to deal with it, just open the next one and go, map cost is super cheap
tested the strat after patch and
1. Previously some maps still dropped as normally so not full t17s mods, but most did drop as full t17 mods
2. The nerf: map quant is now 130~ avg instead of 180 and packsize is 45~ avg instead of 55~, but you still get outliers sometimes that will look the same as maps before patch
Since we're using risks we have so much quant/packsize already that this is a -15% quant -10% packsize nerf
3. I did small testings and still self sustained maps with more maps, out of 7 "new maps" I got 8 more maps and 5 maps that will work for 3rd regex, 7d/2ex also out of 7 "new maps"
But you have to run 50% more maps now which actually isn't too bad
4. you dont oversustain by a lot and run lil worse maps on average -15% -10%
But map costs are also down from 0.4d to 0.2d already
And t17's prices are up abo 0.1->0.3d fortress 0.1->0.4d and you will still get 30+ of them an hour
So with current economy profit kinda stays the same (?)
5. Rolling maps as I did previously will be better for mirror hunting and gap between 8 mod vs. 6 mod rolled + chiseled + orbed is not a thing anymore
Pros:
Chisels give 20% quant + 12% effect of mods
Orb saves a lot of points
Rolling allows for 150+ more currency on every map
Cons:
Cost per map is doubled or tripled, 8 mod running is mindless and essentially free to run
6. TL:DR not dead at all, previously wealthyexile was at 70d/h revenue and 15d/h cost in scarabs, nerf isnt -40%, more like -25% and costs are down / t17 prices are up ty to fubugano
Abyss hoards still worse by far and are also nerfed, maybe 4 risk fortress is comparable, but has no lucky drops you won't get a mirror, because it's all barrels&boxes, and ofc boss that drops 40c per kill on avg
I only buy scarabs and self sustain all my maps, mostly run more maps 1st regex and more maps plus more currency ones 2nd regex, both with main atlas, then occasionally swap to big more currency maps with 3rd regex and 2nd atlas
Loot sample is from running self sustained 1/2 regexes, 3rd regex is ~1.5 pure divs each map
If you struggle too much you can get rid of delirium keystone or delirium completely
Keystone makes delirium mirrors work as 80% deliriousness and give more loot/rarity appropriately
Spec into shrines and covetous shrine instead
If you lag too much there could be 3 reasons, and its likely not your pc as I'm doing fine on rtx 3070, even though it's CPU heavy and not GPU
1. Europe servers having latency spikes constantly and closing my instances, ggg claims DDoS
Only solution would be to either play on predictive instead of lockstep or move to america/america servers they don't have any issues
2. Not having enough dps to kill monsters and just stacking them and hitting thousands of them at once
Solution would be to get rid of delirium OR get explode with aoe/damage scaling AND do not hold your button if deal no damage 3/10 mod is present
3. Having wrong/bad graphics settings
Renderer: Vulkan, game says it provides more consistent perfomance and it does
VSync: Disabled
Dynamic Culling: Enabled
Dynamic Resolution: Enabled
I dont drop 16.5 maps - why ?
1) full favorite slots are mandatory all 12, it is mandatory to put dunes 12 times + full atlas obviously
2) the new atlas storyline must be completed all 3 memories with 3 bosses, if it is completed, when you open the atlas, petals will fly there + everything will be burnt, if not done -99% to drop rate of 16.5
Crit immunity + reflect immunity + action speed slows immunity via balance of terror + debuffs expire 80% faster for 3/10->1.5/10 seconds of deal no damage is A MUST
Chaos/non crit build is better for extra es / no crit maps
Divination card scrying is necessary and gives +10d/h
Rarity is another +10d/h and is key for your gold/h, but depends on your build and you can get lucky/unlucky, with 300% rarity I get 1 mb + 1 hh every 270 maps on average
0% -> 100% rarity is 80% MORE gold and uniques found
100% -> 200% rarity is 30% MORE gold and uniques found
200% -> 300% rarity is 10% MORE gold and uniques found
above 300% is only worth if your only drops are uniques and gold and even then its mediocre and diminishing returns hits hard
DOESN'T AFFECT ANYTHING OTHER THAN GOLD AND UNIQUES
Map choice is previously dunes because of fortress prices, now pivoting to jungle valley so I can give abomination to mappers
Dunes is fortress + 5-7% more /kills per map
Jungle valley is abomination + better eldritch altars so 10-15% more loot, but a bit less /kills
Canyon/Ashen woods/Shore/Any other map - is idk untested

I run like this - I open all the breaches at once that are nearby, several of them, run in one direction, then a temporal rift and you find yourself on the other edge
I take absolutely all the altars that are any of duplicate/quantity/rarity
I only pick up big loot, I don't even collect 4c's, skip boss on every map, once every 28 maps you can kill it for the sake of screaming invitation link to lootfilter
The uniques that dropped are mostly only good for corruption, so we carry wisdoms + portals + vaals in the inventory and immediately corrupt valiriums and other stuff, if nothing cool works then we smash it on the floor, less than 1d per trade is not worth it for us 30-50d+ per hour
I throw maps and other stuff into dump tab quads for 2d / 3d, and if I get messaged for maps then I sell them, for fast mapping it is too expensive per map, and slow strats tested and turned out so-so
When maps run out then I go into quad and take by regex -> put all maps that I will run in the map device pouch
IF you're just starting or run out of maps then forget about these regexes and just put in and run any 50%+ more maps as if doing first regex
ALSO these don't remove any affixes, they only highlight maps with more loot, I never look at my map mods, if you can't run any mod then you won't self sustain good maps
