This setup focuses on farming Scarabs directly from rare monsters using the Amplified Artifacts atlas node. The goal is to create high-scarab density maps and juice rare monsters for maximum return, ideally with a Headhunter build for insane tempo.
Atlas Focus: Amplified Artifacts (for increased Scarab drops from rares)
Map: T17s Fortress for barels
Map device: Ambush for 50% more ambush scarabs
Scarab Investment: 2x Horned Scarab of Nemeses
1x Cartography Scarab of Risk
2x Scarab of Adversaries
or 2x Wisps (Even harder but less rares IDK)
If u are running double Nemeses you need a headhunter
No headhunter setup
1x Horned Scarab of Nemeses
2x Scarab of Adversaries
1x Influencing Scarab of the Elder (no headhunter)
1x Scarab of Monstrous Lineage (no headhunter)
Eldritch Influence: Run Eater of Worlds or Exarch altars — Eater is generally better for scarab farming, but I’m using Exarch since I’m CI. Try to Bossrush to maximize your altar chance.
Roll your maps for 70%+ Scarabs using this regex filter:
"!s refl|'v|acl|ever" "sca.*([6-9].|\d..)%"
If you can’t handle all map mods in T17, adjust the regex to suit your build’s limits. The idea is to hit the highest scarab quant possible while maintaining clear speed and safety.
Prioritize juicing rare monsters — they’re your primary source of Scarabs via Amplified Artifacts.
Skip slow side content; your currency/hour comes from killing rares fast and chaining maps.
This method shines with Headhunter builds due to the insane rare monster density and chaining buffs.
I started as an Int Stacker KB Trickster and was pulling around 60% of current revenue before getting Headhunter.
A Deadeye KB “Fubgun” style build would perform even better for this farm due to faster clear and more dmg.
Once optimized with Headhunter and high-scarab maps, this setup can rival top-tier currency farms. Expect consistent Scarab drops, tons of duplicated high-tier Scarabs.
